Alfacel-P(CC)
There are four types of Alfacel-P(CC) as mentioned in the above
table. All types are white, odourless and tasteless hygroscopic
powders. They are insoluble in organic solvents and dilute acids,
& partially soluble in both dilute alkali & water (CMC fraction).

DISPERSION
The colloidal MCC provides a structured dispersion vehicle
while the CMC facilitates dispersion and serves as a protective colloid.
When stirred in water Alfacel-P(CC) powder disperses to form either a
colloidal sol or white opaque gel, depending upon the Alfacel-P(CC) concentration.
